MySail Sail Racing News - Sailing & Yachting News From Around The Web

Hello sailors,

I hope you’re all enjoying 2021 so far!

In my previous newsletter I advised that I was busy with last-minute Sydney Hobart Yacht Race preparation. That was a mere 3 days before the whole race was called off due to a COVID-19 outbreak that started in Sydney’s northern beaches and quickly spread across the city.

Here’s to hoping 2021 brings a bit more certainly when it comes to planning sailing events!

This past weekend saw the first major sailing event of 2021 – the Prada Cup – get underway in Auckland, New Zealand. The Prada Cup Challenger Selection Series will determine which of the America’s Cup challenger teams will take on the defending New Zealand team in the main event. You can find out more about the Prada Cup here or read the latest news on news.mysail.team.

Enjoy reading some of the latest news from the sailing world below.

Until next week, happy sailing 😊⛵
