G’day sailors!

I’m excited to write this with renewed optimism that I might be able to get out on the water again soon, and sure there are many others that are feeling the same way at the moment.

For those lucky sailors in New Zealand, many have already been able to get out on the water due to a relaxation of the rules and the introduction of contact tracing procedures. The MySail crew management app supports this contact tracing – you can find out how here.

For the first time in a while, there are a few news stories about races scheduled for or planning to be held over the next few months. I’ve included a few of these stories below, and will start to update the MySail event schedule as these dates get locked in. If you would like to add your club’s events, send us an email and we can help.

Thank you to those who have been joining me for Dockside with Deb over the last few weeks. There is no event this week as I am taking the Australia Sailing Equipment Auditor Club Course so I can help yachts tick off this requirement and get out on the water as soon as possible. We will reconvene next week, and for those who missed last week’s session with CYCA Commodore Paul Billingham, we had an issue with the recording file but I am working with the provider to get this fixed and up on our Facebook page ASAP.

Until next week, happy sailing 😊⛵
