Pancake Sailor is a new virtual sailing experience from MarineVerse.
Pancake Sailor was created in March 2020 in response to isolation requirements put in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With many sailors finding themselves quarantined at home, the MarineVerse team decided to create an online sailing experience that would be accessible to as many people as possible.
Players get their own small interactive sailboat that they can steer and adjust the sails using simple keyboard controls. The sailing mechanics are designed to be as realistic as possible, and you get the choice to sail solo, get your friends involved in a multiplayer scenario or compete in a race with a global community of sailors.
Pancake Sailor is set in an idyllic Caribbean location with immersive audio and ocean sounds.
